Housed as a series of collections at the Internet Archive, ELA’s collections includes approximately 5 TB (and growing) of primarily born-digital recordings (video, audio, transcriptions, translations, lexical data, and fieldwork sessions).
ELA is home to the Joshua Fishman Sociolinguistic Library, a collection of sociolinguistic books and journals collected by the late linguist Joshua (Shikl) Fishman.
ELA's team continues to publish books, articles, reviews, children's books, maps, and other materials, bringing research to the widest possible audience.
