Volunteers and researchers past and present have helped out on a wide range of ELA projects.

Speaker Collaborators

Speakers of over 100 languages have worked with ELA on a wide range of projects, from documenting their languages to hosting celebrations of art and culture.

Supporters

ELA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit entirely supported by donations. Support has come from major federal agencies such as the NSF, NEA, and NEH, as well as city agencies, universities, private foundations, institutes, corporations, and individuals.

ELA's Board of Directors reflects a range of expertise and diverse backgrounds.

ELA Toronto

Formed in 2012, ELA Toronto is a sister organization to ELA in NYC, independently pursuing a similar mission to support language communities in Canada's most linguistically diverse city.
